Las Dalias de Ibiza
Back to all places
Founded in 1954, Las Dalias de Ibiza has evolved from a modest rural bar into one of the most iconic and culturally significant markets on the island of Ibiza. Located in the picturesque village of Sant Carles de Peralta, this legendary venue initially served as a local meeting point and soon became a focal point for the burgeoning hippie movement during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1985, Las Dalias hosted its very first flea market, drawing artists, artisans, and musicians from across the globe, and laying the foundation for its present-day reputation as a vibrant multi-cultural marketplace. Every Saturday, as well as on select weekday evenings during the summer, the market transforms into a bustling mosaic of colorful stalls offering handmade crafts, jewelry, vintage clothing, and organic culinary delights, all set to the rhythm of live music performances. The venue is deeply intertwined with the cultural identity of Ibiza, having hosted countless live concerts, poetry readings, and art exhibitions over the decades. The enduring spirit of Las Dalias remains a testament to the island’s enduring legacy as a sanctuary for creative expression, freedom, and community, welcoming visitors from around the world eager to experience its unique blend of tradition and bohemian flair.
